I am so scatterbrained right now with everything going on and it's probably gonna impact my play haha
this day/week/the entire world is a mess, and this is definitely a momentary break from all of those haha
The win streak continues! [Gen 8] Ubers replay: fkgdustin vs. DerekIsAGooner - Pokémon Showdown That was WAY too close. I was filled with dread the whole match and so exhausted
Writing a great synposis for this one. I put a ton of work into prepping for @DerekIsAGooner and if I put even 5 minutes less work in the prep I would've lost
what a great match. when Derek was leading 5-3 or something, i knew it wasn't over. Dustin just had to get to a point where Ditto can finish off everyone. I think that Flygon U-turn was the highlight. Super clever way of switching. massive props to Derek too. that was terrifying to play against. @DerekIsAGooner did Aegislash have shadow sneak? i kept thinking Shadow Sneak would've been great in some places there (esp towards the end)
No, I have Shadow Claw on it instead for the higher damage. But considering how slow Aegislash is I should probably throw a priority move like that on it.
i was thinking if you threw an attack move with a +2 Aegislash instead of Toxic vs Dracozolt, if it would've changed the outcome of the match. this is going to be fun to rewatch.
You're totally right. I didn't think one attack from Dracozolt would hurt me that badly, so I went with Toxic beforehand.
Team vs @DerekIsAGooner For this match I was mortified so I did what I've seen @zigbigwig do every week: Look at the data and develop a wincon. As I looked at all of the Pokemon that could be brought the answer was this: paralyze Togekiss and nullify Flygon (and Sirfetchd if it was brought), and Dracozolt can sweep the team. It can KO Barraskewda, Togekiss, Toxtricity (while gigantimaxed), Centiskorch, Aegislash, and others that weren't brought, receiving minimal damage in return. Unfortunately for me, Flygon stuck around for a long time - long enough to cripple my Dracozolt into a death after it was inflicted with Toxic and leave me with 1 Pokemon. Luckily for me, that 1 Pokemon was Ditto, and it happened to copy Barraskewda, one of the fastest, most lethal attackers on the team. Most Pokemon did their job in this match (even though Grimmsnarl never gigantimaxed, the Thunder Wave on Togekiss was crucial to preventing my team from getting flinched to oblivion), and Ditto was no exception as a revenge killer. Drapion inflicted heavy damage, Morpeko pivoted and served as a sacrificial lamb to allow a safe Dracozolt entry, and Jellicent crippled Centiskorch so that it could not threaten the rest of my team with the diverse movepool I had scouted in @DerekIsAGooner's previous matches. MVP: DANIEL (Ditto)
Alright, so I'm getting an error in Showdown that reads: "Gengar-Gmax has an exclusive move that it doesn't qualify for (because Gmax Pokemon can only be obtained from a Max Raid)." Is there a specific move I need to remove
Garrett's run into this too with Charizard Check here: Gengar #094 - Serebii.net Pokédex If the move isn't listed here (or is ONLY listed as an Egg Move), that's the move that needs to be removed
