btw i noticed it a while ago but couldn't confirm, but you had 2 pokemon with Leftovers haha. i didn't bother bringing it up because it was knocked off anyway during the match. and again I wasn't sure if we had the 1 item clause here in the league, it wasn't in the OP iirc

 

i definitely underestimated how scary haxorus and hydreigon can be

I’m not discouraged I’m just doing some other stuff and I feel veryyyyyy overwhelmed right now. I was hoping to do a quick match, assumed he would sweep me anyway. I messaged him on showdown chat apologizing. The update today must have messed with the teams.

honestly i think you and i are probably two of the closest in the league in terms of how new we are to competitive! Laura would have creamed me though if it weren't for bronzong so ya fear her tho

 

So not sharing my teams yet as I reuse so many builds, but here’s my super secret notes to myself aka why it takes me thirty seconds to choose moves:

 

Going against zig and Jake in the same week was brutal.

 

for @Garrett L. @zigbigwig and @Fucking Dustin : Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are all bad for me this week but Thur/Fri night are good, Saturday the whole day is good, and Sunday afternoon and evening are good

I can do Wednesday evening, Friday evening, Saturday afternoon/evening, Sunday afternoon/evening this week. So we're probably best looking towards the weekend. I've got a 10K on Saturday morning.

 

Thursday and Friday are bad for me haha but I can definitely set aside time on Saturday

I haven’t had any issues.

 

tbh my two battles this week have been the toughest ones yet. early on i was able to play conservatively, but i feel like i’ve been taking bigger and bigger risks with my plays just to get that W. good stuff.

i think it’s because people are starting to figure out their teams and those who are doing this for the first time are also learning to play competitively (which is great!!!).

 

mine is looser and uglier and i write less if it’s a less complicated MU

my notes to beat jake, ugly handwriting and all. i don’t do that much damage calc anymore but it was useful early on

 

Saturday sounds good, I'll be free most of the day

Showdown damage calculator isn't considering Eviolite for Galarian Mr Mime. It's not a big deal as I can just manually increase the defense and spdef by 1.5 for each as needed, but just wanted to make people aware of that and to doublecheck if you're using it in case it's doing the same for you (it does calculate fine for Dusclops and G-Corsola)

It SEEMS to work in Showdown itself and other calculators do factor it in
