Mega > Dynamax > Z-Moves

 

Volcarona is so good.

The X/Y was where I was really active, I remember belly drum azumarill, the skill link builds like Cloyster and mega sableye. super fun too use

i used Mandibuzz a lot too. Foul Play was great

 

I think I like Z-Moves more than Dynamax still because at least for Z-Moves you had to take up an item slot and couldn't just have 6 Pokemon that could each use them without making major sacrifices

i’m not very familiar with the ultra beasts/last gen. what didn’t you like about it?

 

I do agree with that especially considering how much they allowed in gen 7 competitive

 

Every gen 7 team was like

TAPU FINI - TAPU KOKO - XERNEAS - PRIMAL GROUDON - INCINEROAR - DOESNT EVEN MATTER HOW ABOUT MEGA GENGAR

 

It's not that I didn't like it I just liked gen 6 more. Terrains were too dominant in gen 7

 

I definitely didn't like the number of legendaries and ultra beasts that ran away with the Gen 7 meta. I really like the diversity of teams that are out there right now with this meta. I know it's going to change with them adding more legendaries/ Incineroar.. but I like it so far.

In my practice battles on Showdown every time I come up against one of the gen 8 legendaries I know it's going to be a nightmare because those things are so overpowered. Zacian in its altered form = game over.

I'm glad that we aren't including legendaries or mythicials in this draft. It makes things way more fun.
