I watched back my replay against Jordan and I didn't realize just how many Will-O-Wisps I missed against his Weavile

Accuracy is so valuable and misses like that can really make a great game

It's so true. I always forget that Dark is weak to bug. Some of them aren't super intuitive.

haha, we’ll see. i feel like everyone is upping their game

that is crazy and frustrating. i mean it’s part of the game, but will-o-wisp generally works most of the time.

but that’s the thing with competitive games, some sort of luck mechanic still needs to be in place to make things more swing-y and exciting. just enough to make it entertaining, but not to the point that it ruins the balance of winning through having consistently smart plays

 

Yeah for sure, anyone who's like "ugh that's not fair" is completely missing the point haha. I loved that matchup so much

The type resistances/weaknesses have been second nature to me since I was like 10 lol

 

I've loved all three of my battles so far. I've felt like I could win or lose throughout all of them.
