i’m not a very aggressive player so i’m getting terrified of all these pokemon who can just plow through def/spd without issue

 

Yea, I initially had a strategy but all the Pokémon I wanted got taken so I just went with whatever Pokémon were left that I liked best

 

Just draft the best looking pokemon.

 

I'm think that somewhere around round 6 we'll start choosing lesser Pokemon that'll serve as good support or setup 'mons for what we got in the first few rounds.

Yea, there was pichu chikorita and smoochum and the smoochum one was like a smooth light purple I just needed it. Smoochum is awesome. They were very modern and cool for whatever year it was, early 2000s.

They have other ones, apparently but this was the first series they came out with. I know there's a meowth one and some others

 

All I remember was a Pikachu Tomagachi, and I definitely walked the hell out of that thing.

 

That was the first one, love that he made a giant mound of shit when he was pissed

Also remember it came out specifically when McDonald's had the Reccess toys for some reason

The Smoochum on that box looks like it has googly eyes, and it's kind of adorable.
