@Shrek i honestly think it was a bad MU for you - Sableye, Vaporeon and Ferrrothorn already checks a lot of your team. I was surprised to find that out. adding that Rotom-H any build can OHKO Pelipper, and Tyranitar is very, very good against your Sylveon.

I had 2 Water Absorb Pokemon to choose from (ultimately I went with Vaporeon), so Dracovish was pretty much not a threat.

 

my main struggle with keeping up with all of this is how much of any given game is switching in and out. it makes perfect sense but i just have no experience and it feels like so little of a competitive match is planting your feet and battling. i struggle to keep up with that a lot i think. def what i need to work most on

 

just do a lot of matches, it’s really overwhelming at the start haha.

i used to play a lot of randomized team matches on showdown and i lost more than i won, but it was also a great way to practice

 

our switch-out wars were pretty amusing, if you had toxic somewhere that was a good time to randomly throw it out imo (esp if it was Vaporeon who was hit)

small wins like that can really make the match a lot easier to manage

Also, as we try to get set up with the second season, draft-league.nl requires a league logo and team logos. Anyone good with photoshop want to take a stab at this??? Please??

I was thinking maybe we should choose a time that would make it easy for other people to watch if they want since it's a playoff match.
