this might be a non-issue but like i said i haven't been playing the last few years, are there any moves that aren't available in Galar and do we put restrictions on them?

 

If we use the "Gen 8 Uber" or "Gen 8 OU" options in Showdown I'm pretty sure it'll auto restrict based on this gen

 

There's no way to enforce what was added through the Home release so anything added through Home FOR the Galar Dex Pokemon is legal
