Didn’t seem bizarre or mean to me. Most lists around here are pretty similar (nothing wrong with that), but I agree it’s more interesting to find a list with something new to discover. My favorite thing about list season is finding stuff I missed through out the year.

I spent literally 10 years of making lists worried about how other people would perceive it and if it was interesting enough for the peanut gallery and hardly any of those lists are genuine reflections of my favorite music, good to know I had it right back then and doing it for me is bad and not interesting enough
