Overall, I came up with a list of 50, but after a certain point there's not much difference between the spots. I loved a lot of albums this year, and I feel bad for leaving some off the list. Instead, I'll recommend some.

Really need to remember to give Caspian love for my list. Loved that album, but felt like five years ago.

 

I had never heard of Spanish Love Songs before today, but wow I'm loving this album.

 

The record. I do like them but more than two songs in a row is too much for me lol.

Welp everyone can now ignore my list. Discovering Spanish Love Songs last night, and now Taylor Swift and Kid Cudi dropping albums at midnight.....definitely feel like I'll need to make some changes.

 

I'm a T Swift casual (really trying to like her more) but that loud scratching sound you just heard like a needle being suddenly lifted off a record is this whole site stopping their list-making after she announced the new album haha

 

this is exactly why I never make lists until the year is actually almost over... December exists!

 

Can’t wait for all the major pubs to try classifying it as a 2021 album a year from now.

Gotta be the most egregious example. Just admit you fucked up and posted your list too early!

 

Same shit happened when Beyonce released self titled right before Christmas in 2013.

 

I remember when The Republic of Wolves “No Matter How Narrow” was released mid December like 5-6 years ago and so many people already posted their lists they missed that record. Happens every year I’m sure. This time it just happens to be more famous artist.

 

I think the top 10 spots are pretty solidified. The rest can be re-arranged depending on the day

 

I need to listen to that King Gizzard record.
