I know it's only been less than two weeks since I posted my list, but I think Oso Oso and Clairo are both climbing my rankings. Fine Line didn't live up to the hype of the first three singles for me and would fall outside my Top 30, replaced by Jamila Woods. Hadn't heard of her until earlier this month but LEGACY! LEGACY! is absolutely incredible.

 

Since I usually favor playlists over front-to-back albums, I figured that my EOTY list is best represented as both albums & tracks. The older I get, the less I care about the concept of objective valuation, so this is just a list of music that made an impact in my personal life at the right time and place this year.

 

I’ll come back with a top 10/15 but for now Morbid Stuff by PUP and Sucker Punch by Sigrid are my top two and it’s not really close
