    I think relegating it to chillwave/synth pop completely undersells how dark and churning and brooding the majority of the music is. They aren't CHVRCHES

    My first time doing one of these and this is the most music I've listened to in a single year ever. Definitely not easy to narrow down a top ten so I did 15. I'm fairly confident in my top 5 but the rest could easily change spots depending on how I'm feeling on any given day.
