Weird ass year.

We haven't had separate ones in a few years but it seems like it makes more sense? Rather than mixing users and publications all in one thread.

 

Here's what my top 10 looks like right now, but I gave myself a challenge to watch (at least) one new 2020 film every day for the rest of the month. Currently doing pretty well (Shithouse, Trial of the Chicago 7 (barf), Never Rarely Sometimes Always)

First Cow is the best film so far, but I have only seen a handful. Given how much has been delayed or never filmed at all, it would be hard to put together a real list.

Not exactly in order, but this is some of the media that I consumed and loved. I didn't watch many tv shows this year, and have a lot to catch up on especially HBO Max programming. 2020 was the year I fell back in love with horror.

 

I haven't been watching many movies, need to catch up. I crossed Sound of Metal off my list last night, that was good.

 

I haven't seen much of the Slant list, so my list is weak. My favorite was undoubtedly I'm Thinking of Ending Things. I'm looking forward to watching Bloody Nose, Empty Pockets, Never Rarely Sometimes Always and First Cow soon.

This has been the longest year, and I forgot that Close Enough was released on HBO Max this year. It's a show I have been able to appreciate with every viewing. I don't know if it's possible for me to not like a J.G. Quintel project.

Gotta catch up on movies, probably won’t have a list ‘til the last week of the month. Current favorite is Da 5 Bloods, which is likely to keep that spot, especially with Nomadland now being a 2021 film to me. Though, haven’t seen First Cow yet, which looks really good.

Got some comic book catching up to do as well. Though, pretty confident that The Magic Fish by Trung Le Nguyen has that top spot:
