Thank you! I'm really proud of everyone for their submissions. And I had fun trying to sequence the tracklisting to mimic a normal record as much as I could.

 

1. @Roman Rogowski - Solid cover! Clairo is great, and you did the song justice.
2. bradsonemanband - Totally out of nowhere, I decided to cover "Flavor of the Weak." I just felt like learning it and speeding it up a little bit to see how it would sound.
3. @manoverboard365 - Another great cover from you. Your voice is really cool! Your mixes are getting better too.
4. @straylight93 - Speaking of good voices... I could fall asleep to you singing songs, and that's a compliment haha. I need to listen to more Manchester Orchestra. I've only heard a few songs here and there. You nailed this song though. The original version better be just as good! :)
5. @bobsheiskawy - Great cover. I really like your guitar's tone. I wish my acoustic stuff sounded this good.
6. straylight93 - Cool hearing you going for a different production style for this one. Do you have original stuff anywhere? I need to hear it.
7. @therookielot - Cool mashup! I always like seeing Box Car Racer love.
8. @accelerateto88 - This cover is awesome! Great pro sounding recording quality too. Keep doin what you're doin!
9. @Benjamin Lee - First off, thanks so much for sparking excitement in these comps again and taking the reins. You did great at putting it all together. Solid tracklist sequencing too! Anyway, I've always loved this Death Cab song. You did it justice, for sure!
10. @genericities - I haven't really listened to The Hotelier, but I reeeeally like this cover. Your voice is great. Reminds me of Phoebe Bridgers, actually. Please do all the upcoming compilations. K thanks.
11. @xkaylinh - I always like when you go electric for your covers. Good energy on this one.
12. @SmashRipsaw - Welp... this might be my favorite cover on here. You nailed it haha. And it works really well as an instrumental track.
13. @phaynes12 - Two Manchester Orchestra covers on this comp. Guess I need to finally sit down and listen to an album of theirs. The belty vocals are awesome. What pedals did you use for the guitar tones?
14. Benny Lee - This cover is great. The vocals are especially lovely! Is this your band? Or just a one-off thing you guys did? Hit me with more jams!
15. therookielot - This is a cool cover. One of my favorite Doors songs, and you did it justice. I like this version a lot.
16. @SAB22 - Such a cool idea to make a math rocky cover of Outkast! I really love this. Please do a full album of covers like this for me haha.
17. xkaylinh - Your personality comes through on this one and I like that a lot. I liked hearing you chuckle at the words in parts. Sounds like you had fun doing this one.
18. bradsonemanband - I used to be one of those One Direction haters, but then one day I randomly decided to do a discography run because I figured there MUST be a song that I'd like. "Back For You" was the one that flipped my opinion on them. It was a lot of fun to make a lo-fi pop punk version of the song.
19. genericities - This is beautiful. I'm not familiar with this song, but I love the finger picking style and your voice together!
20. @EmoEmpire - Awesome spin on a top tier Jimmy song! Now I want to hear them bust out a full band version of it live sometime haha

@bradsonemanband Thank you so much! The Magic Lantern Days cover itself, the lineup was me, Roman (who did the Clairo cover), and my friend Kelcy. I don't know how involved Roman will be, but Kelcy and I are working on an album. We have a one-off single we're gonna release soon that I can send, then I'll send any demos of the album your way. :) Thank you for your interest.

Who knows? I've heard there's something special though... Just from a friend of a friend who knows a guy who buys weed from a guy who said something about it.

Any song released in 2020 is allowed. Each person is allowed two submissions, and before covering you need to comment on what your song is so there are no duplicate covers of the same song. As for the 2020 comp, I need to look at what all came out last year and see if there’s anything that I vibe with. 2020 was such a blur, to say the least haha.
