Yeah definitely in favor of extending the MCR comp, time totally slipped away from me and I don't think I'll have the time to record until after Thanksgiving

 

DUE DATE: Dec 15
RELEASE DATE: Dec 16

RULES:
- Covers and originals allowed
- As many songs as you want to do
- Doesn't have to be "Christmas." It can be any winter holiday you want.
- Send your finished tracks to CHORUSFMCOMPS@HOTMAIL.COM by the due date (Dec 15)
- No real need to call out what song(s) you are planning on covering, but you can if you want to!

 

I'll stretch out the MCR comp's due date to Dec 8th

Damn I haven't done one of these comps in so long! I honestly haven't even picked up my guitar in like 5 months, but this past weekend I had the sudden urge to lock myself in the apartment and just record. Once the new year starts I'm definitely back in!

This is like the 8th comp I've said I was going to do, but this week is finals, so next week I'm going to decompress and writing music always helps. I am half done writing a Christmas song, so I think I want to actually fall all the way through on this one.

My son was born Thursday so I couldn’t contribute this time around but I did cut this compilation of people playing along to Jimmy Eat World’s “Last Christmas” cover so it looked like they were all in a band together. Enjoy and merry Christmas y’all!
