Weekends I tell myself I’m gonna finish my Rock Opera this year but mostly sleep and/or try to find rogue erotica blogs on Tumblr that haven’t gotten the Thanos snap. Stuck in the land of the lotus eaters, amirite? Anyway, as promised, your mom and I aren’t getting divorced..yet:

@therookielot: first track hell yeah, I had fun doing this one. I’ve never experimented with layering guitar parts. sorry im a n00b. Its weird playing off yourself. I mostly did this song for the bridge. fav part to record.

@Patterns in Traffic sintraffic- very hypnotic! The programming is money. Very smooth transitions.

I'm kicking around the idea of doing "The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia" by Vicki Lawrence (also covered by Tanya Tucker and Reba McEntire)... hope I find time to put something together.

 

I listened to Tim McGraw's Set This Circus Down yesterday to see if there was anything on there that I wanted to do. I didn't settle on a song, but I can confirm that the record is still wall-to-wall bangers.

 

I got angel from montgomery pretty much done but damn this chorus on Sam Stone always hits me hard

 

How country do these country songs have to be? Like can I do a Dan + Shay song or are they more pop than country?

 

I mean the fact that people are doing Turnpike Troubadours songs makes me think that as long as there's a country tinge it counts personally I can't count the Troubadours or Old 97's as country and as such sadly i will not be doing covers for my favorite bands same with BJ Barham or American Aquarium.
