We should do The xx's 'xx' as a future volume seeing that the album is ten years old today and I reckon we'd be able to put out a solid compilation of the whole thing.

I've never even listened to The XX, but I'd be down to for a "blind cover" of one of their songs, haha.

 

I'd grab Infinity honestly if I could find someone to do it with.

 

Just listened to The XX for the first time now Is the idea of the XX album cover to replicate their songs close to the originals or to do our own thing with the tracks? Or a mixture of both?

 

I feel like I've semi de-railed this but it's a project I'd love to actually do even if it isn't an official compilation release so shoot me a message if you want in and I'll make it happen.

 

I always thought if we were gonna do one of those it would be something everyone was familiar with, like Tell All Your Friends or Ocean Avenue level AP.net classic. idk the xx??

 

I agree. I've never listened to an XX song knowingly, haha. We'll cross that bridge when we get there though.

Let's all just focus on the 80s compilation for now, as it's due in like 4 days!
