I might do my cover really.. lo fi and weird idk. Depends on if I get any help, we will see. Might do a real slow thing with the melody down the octave and make it sound completely different. We will see

Would there be any interest amongst this group of doing As Cities Burn at some point in the future? They have so many different styles that I feel like could be interpreted into that many more styles. And they're one of my favorite bands!

 

Meh. Never cared for any of their post-S,ILYAYD stuff.

How are you all planning on recording yours?

I use the GarageBand app on my iPhone and just use the stock iPhone speaker to record as well. I just kinda play around with it to get a good placement and it usually gives relatively decent results.

I have a basic set up that I use for everything. I have a condenser mic that I run through a super basic audio interface, that runs right into my DAW. I use Cubase for recording all my tracks. But I program drums and bass with Reason. My set up is so basic for how much recording I actually do, haha.

 

Thanks, I'll look into this. I deleted all my shit a while back and have been looking for something new

 

I plug everything into my mixer and then that into my mic in and record with Audacity. I've tried Acid Pro but it never stuck with me. I've used Garage Band at school in the past, that's probably the simplest/most intuitive thing.

 

i use a pirated copy of logic

really wish i could do a piano arrangement of discomfort but i don't know how to play piano oops
