I haven't been keeping up with these comps lately and wow I've missed some good ones :\ Buuuut for some reason I decided to check this today and saw the theme and immediately started recording a cover. Put me down for Shivers by Rowland S. Howard/Boys Next Door.

I'm stoked to hear this. I ended up doing Leaving on a Jet Plane, John Denver , and Ol 55, Tom Waits , with an eagles inspired fade. Hoping the pick sound doesn't get annoying on the one and think I could've done better vocals on two, but I love both sets of lyrics very much. Reading over the list I'm excited to see how everyone interpreted the songs. I never did covers much but these comps have inspired me, I just have fun and make it how I feel and hope someone likes it, instead of worrying how different my version might sound.

 

Today is the last day to submit your tracks! (As long as you get them to me before I wake up on Monday morning, you'll be good.)

Ready to hear everyone else's. I've been listening to mine in the car and trying not to nitpick it to pieces. I could have done the vocals a little better but I'm happy with it overall.
