I'm gonna try to get one of my covers done today after work. I'm pretty excited for all 3 of mine! I think I have pretty solid ideas for each of them.

I have the next 2 days off work, and nobody should be home either so I get the place to myself. Will be able to record my 2nd and 3rd cover then.

 

Wow @InfiniteArms !! You are on a roll! I just finished learning to play mine on drums.

Hope to track them tomorrow and hopefully some bass as well. Then I'll be taking what I've got to my dad. I'm going to record him playing the acoustic guitar. He taught me a lot about how to play guitar and Here Comes The Sun is one of his favorite songs... he's even mentioned that he wants it played at his funeral. I thought this would be a great way for he and I to do something fun together... really looking forward to it.

I chose to cover The Beach Boys and The Hollies for my dad, so I definitely feel ya. I don't care if anyone likes my covers but him.

I recorded my Everly Brothers cover (which I picked for my mom) today.

Two more to go!

 

I have a pretty fun cover of "In The Pines" laying around
but maybe I'll do something else too if I can think of the right song to try out my new "harmonizer" on

 

Thanks man!! I already knew how to play 2 of the 3 songs on guitar. Have You Ever Seen The Rain? Is the only song I'm learning new. The perks of having your Dad as your guitar teacher when I was starting out was that I learned a lot of old songs.

Fuck I hate my immune system. Working retail sucks. I've gotten more sick working retail for the past 2 years, than I have for all of my high school days.
