Nice job. Shit, I thought all your drums were programmed. I was going to ask you to do drums for one of my 2017 songs. I can play it all but the tom parts. Did you play FCPREMIX on drums too? I was real impressed with that one!

 

My drums have triggers so it's recorded as midi not analog, because I don't have a drum interface to record. Nothing is programmed, it's played, but the drums are technically digital.

 

I've got an electric kit and I can hook it to my PC for MIDI but, the lag throws me off too much. Plus the velocity makes some of the hits sound too light or hard.

 

I've anticipated this one for a long time now and you all delivered!

Cute Without The E - @JakeRabin & @elemenohpe - Your voices are the perfect compliments to each other, much like Adam's and John's! Your cover really captures the energy of the original and was a great way to start this off!

This Photograph Is Proof - @manoverboard365 - I absolutely love the instrumental change up here and the melody in the chorus is great. This has a bit of a Jimmy Eat World feel to it. Awesome stuff.

Bike Scene @Jdaniels - I think I say this every time for your covers, but I really like your folk-esque style, especially vocally. In particular it shines on the bridge here.

Your Own Disaster - @bradsonemanband - Love the decision to really turn up the volume! The chorus especially works well as a loud sing along anthem.

Great Romances Of The 20th Century - @xkhiemster - A nice acoustic cover. I like the chord strumming in place of the picking during the intro (it works better when it's acoustic in my opinion) and the dual vocals are really well done.

Tidal Wave - @JakeRabin - You've got the perfect gruff punk style voice for this song. The guitar also sounds super raw and I love it. It's one of my favorite's on Tidal Wave and you killed it.

Ghost Man On Third - @js977 - It's quiet and emotional all the way through, really beautiful rendition.

Flicker, Fade - @TedSchmosby - I love that little back and forth with you and a friend during the bridge. Also dig the subtle background vocals in the chorus and the build up at the end. Great take on one of my favorites from the reunion era.

Better Homes And Gardens - @Jdaniels - Gotta praise your voice again. Your vocal delivery adds another layer of melancholy to this already gut wrenching song.

...Slowdance On The Inside - @therookielot - Haha, that ending! Definitely got me to chuckle. The way you changed up the rhythm really works with the stripped down style. This was great!
