Put in some serious work on mine over the weekend. Couldn't really figure out what to do with it so I ended up doing a fairly straight-forward cover with a few small changes.

 

I started working on mine this weekend too. I got a good bulk of it done.

My brother is coming over this afternoon to track drums for That's What You Get. I ordered a POD HD500X and it won't arrive for a couple more days so I'll probably get guitar and bass done by the weekend and then wrap up tracking Monday or Tuesday.

 

Perhaps I'll try "Last Hope"

I think we need an adjudication because you called that out before the comp was announced, and it hasn't made the list on the front page either.

Yeaaaah the general rule is that songs can't be picked until we officially announce the comp. I only start keeping track of what people take after that. It's too confusing otherwise. But if KennedyBN and therookielot can work it out and just let me know who is taking that song, I'll update the list. I don't want anyone feeling like their toes are being stepped on.

 

I think it's pretty fair the way it operates where songs can only be called once the comp is announced.

No way. You take it. I Appreciate it, But I should have got caught up on this thread. I just jumped in here impulsively haha.

I'm just creating other goals to distract myself from writing my Soul Punk Opera anyway.

 

If you really don't want it, I'll take a crack at it, but I do want to play by the rules and I technically called the song before the comp was decided. So I honestly don't mind giving it to you to be fair. But I mean, if you really don't want to do it haha
