What's the deadline again?

 

Sunday midnightish. Roughly 40 hours for those of you in continents with earlier time zones.

 

Just sent in both my tracks! Can't wait to hear what everyone else did.

 

Ah butts, just realised the date is in the thread title too haha. Thank you though, wont have a chance to do anything though unfortch.

 

No problem. I was going to say something about it being in the title but I was on mobile and couldn't see the whole thing... figured maybe you couldn't see it either.

 

I just finished writing the music to my cover! Recording it now!

 

Hopefully I'll have time tomorrow morning to finalise my covers. HOPEFULLY.

 

just sent in my cover at 3:30 am lol. i went with John K Samson. i dont think its the best cover ever, but hopefully itll expose some new ears to John K!!

Yeah so no Bowie. Sorry @Wall Of Arms I've tried to make it work, but it's not going to work out, or at least I won't work it out in time for this comp. I will probably still work on it, and release it independently so look out for that.

 

Just sent in my "Holy Water" cover. Sadly, didn't have time for the Every Time I Die cover and I ended up scrapping the Julien Baker cover. I just couldn't get it to work. Maybe we'll do a comp in the future where I can give it another shot.

 

i think i'll be able to finish. im not super pleased but whatever. just for fun anyways.

Just sent my covers of "Last You Heard of Me" and "Aphasia". I think they turned out alright, but my ears are so tired now that I probably can't make any clear judgments anyway. I'm probably gonna think I made a horrible mistake sending the files when I re-listen tomorrow.

 

that's the worst! when you are working on something and you just dont even know i its listenable or even decent anymore. i do that as a photographer too. i can edit a picture for a long time and i get caught up. then i'll step away from the computer and look at it and im likes "Jesus thats horrible, what have i done." stepping away and revisiting definitely helps though.

 

tbh. I too was like fuck it. Not sure if this even counts as a piece of music, but whatever.

What time is this coming out tomorrow? I have my cover about 75% finished but am unable to do any more work on it tonight. :\ I can get up pretty early and finish it tomorrow tho.
