Am I just biased or is this album fucking incredible objectively across all genres and to all people

 

I always thought this was a strange choice for a video tbh.

The video totally works for the song though

The same thing that I said about the outro of The Alien applies to the outro of The Sunshine.

 

That could be good! It might allow for some more in depth discussions on albums people aren’t familiar with, and gives everyone some flexibility

 

The Grocery-The Wolf is such a great 1-2 punch

I’m so pissed at myself for not going to this show last night. Ugh.

 

The Grocery is in contention for the best song of the night last night. Andy got down onto the floor during the end of the song.

(This might be a hot take, but I think this song executes what they were going for in Golden Ticket with the alternating refrains much, much better than they did there)

 

"The Grocery" is their sequel to "Simple Math" in my opinion.

 

yeah this is hands down andy's best vocal performance for manchester (imo)

I think that would work, however, i think t would be quite interesting to see people’s immediate reactions upon hearing an album for the first time, like with new releases etc.

This is a little thing, but as a drummer, I really appreciate the way their drummer plays around with the snare on this song. Those offbeat hits.

 

All it does is clicks . . .

 

The “I’ve been trying to find the right way” part still reminds me of the Dear Hunter.

 

Such a great delivery

 

This isn't my favorite song on the record, but I understand why it would be for someone.

It goes without saying, but the vocals at the end of the song are pretty next level.
