Chorus.fm Listening Party Thread

This is the official thread dedicated to listening parties of any kind: Albums/EPs/Compilations/Soundtracks, etc.

I think live listening parties are a great way to engage in good discussions and also have some fun at the same time. Spread the word. The more, the merrier.

Prior to any listening party we will take a vote to decide what is next. Once we have determined the winner, it will be posted in the band and/or album threads to give anyone else a heads up that might be interested in participating. Dates and times are always flexible. And remember the idea is to have some fun so be kind and respectful to each other. Thanks and cheers. Let's party!

I'd say that one is a definite possibility. It's still so new and fresh so it would be a great pick

 

This is a really cool idea and could really show off some new stuff to people who aren’t familiar with certain artists

What about something classic like The Smiths, or even The Beatles? Maybe not for first choice though...

I will create a poll once we have enough nominees of the same few things. I'd say for this first one we could do a new release or something released in 2017 like A Black Mile.

I agree. I feel like Black Mile is a good choice, considering this thread's tie to the Brand New thread. I'd say SciFi but you guys did that, so Black Mile feels like a good starting point.

 

A soundtrack listening party would be kind of weird but could be cool eventually. There's some good soundtracks out there

 

So far I'm thinking of including the new Circa and A Black Mile by Manchester in the poll.
