I mean, I didn't have much of a choice lol Delanie was on bye so I needed a TE. Devante Parker didnt practice all week so there was no way I was playing him and I'm already down a million WRs Kaep being so shitty is on me though. whatever, I'll be back next year
Did a little breakdown heading into the final few games of the week....I think its mostly accurate. Eliminated: Glorious Domination, Powell Rangers, Big Blue Teams that have appeared to Locked up spot: Swaguars, TSLRocks, Cleveland Steamers, Damage Inc Teams not officially out but likely out: Dirty Landry, PepsiOne Teams fighting for final two spots: Zekes Out, Stillers, Retirees. Zekes (6-6) currently winning 104.66-49.00 Stillers (7-5) currently losing 52.32-112.10 Retirees (7-5) currently losing 102.36-54.08 Retirees point total sits at 1368.34 Stillers point total sits at 1351.68 Zekes point total sits at 1318.30 So for me to have a shot, I need to outscore one of the other two in total points and they need to also lose this week. Damn. Projections currently show: Retirees finishing with 79.07pts Stillers finishing with 106.94pts Zekes finishing with 117.99 That would put point totals at Retirees 1447.41 Stillers 1458.62 Zekes 1436.29 welp….good season for me :(
TSL may take the top spot and push me to 2 if Doug Baldwin doesnt poop. Literally only needs 5 more points to finish ahead of me in points.
Im not even safe yet myself. Gore could get 2 goal line TDs and score 23 points and Anthony keeps the top spot.
I'm confused...if it comes down to teams with the same record, is the first tiebreaker H2H with the two teams or total points scored?
Well shit lol..... Retirees is likely going to lose which will send him to 7-6 but by virtue of total points, he'd be in as a #5 seed. #6 is between Stillers and myself, I believe. It looks like I am going to win which brings me to 7-6 and Stillers is going to lose bringing him also to 7-6. If total points is the tiebreaker, I currently have a 25.92pt lead on him but he still has T.Y. Hilton to go tomorrow night.
Another in for me would be Frank Gore popping off tomorrow and beating Swaguars. I'd pass him in total points.
So nerve wracking because if i lose then i might even lose the 6 seed to STILLERS, he only needs 12 points from Hilton to pass me in points as well.
if I had just left Brandon Lafell on my team and starting instead of picking up Marquess Wilson, I probably would've won this week anyways lmao (John still has Vinatieri left but I'd be up by like 9) thats even WITH Kaep and Vance doing nothing. UGH.
Stillers (7-6): 1,444.64 Total Points Zeke's (7-6): 1,448.46 Total Points Difference for the final playoff spot (I think): 3.82pts
Had i lost id have missed the playoffs by about 10 points. Instead im pretty certain I ended up with the second place bye right behind TSL. Scary shit. Gg to all who fought hard and didnt get in. Still hope to see you guys with better luck next year.
Looks like it'll be Byes: TSLRocks, Swaguars Cleveland Steamers v. Zeke's Out Damage Inc. v. Retirees TSLRocks 8-5 1439.90 Swaguars 8-5 1433.88 Cleveland Steamers 8-5 1393.20 Damage Inc. 8-5 1378.12 Retirees 7-6 1475.22 Zekes Out 7-6 1448.46
I like that it values making the right decision at the right time over just having the best players. Really forces you to consider a lot more factors and in a very removed way, almost strategize the game the same way teams do when it comes to sizing up matchups and rosters. FF would be way more boring if the best drafted team was nearly impossible to beat and it was all about just having good players.
eliminated from this league for making shit roster decisions this past weekend and eliminated from my other pay league by 0.1 points what a shit fantasy year lol
