Montgomery was supposed to be good to go all week, then it comes out he won't be playing AFTER the 1pm games started so I have to play Ryan fucking Mathews at flex. I would've started one of Gillislee or Kelley over him for sure (and been ahead comfortably) but alas, I'm fucked. still up by a decent margin but not feeling good at all.
lol I had this problem in my ESPN conglo league. I had him in at RB and was so fucked. I picked up Wendell Smallwood lmao.
this all could have been avoided if I would've known that Montgomery wasn't playing at say, 12:30 today lol I would have 100% played Kelley
Worst case scenario there for me - my team loses and Elliott doesn't get me the win in this league If I lose because I swapped out defenses...
you got it lol if Chicago gets like 2 sacks or a turnover, you get it I am still so pissed about the Montgomery thing. thats going to end my season.
Lol I'm mostly just mad that I have to spend another day worrying about this Montgomery thing screwed me in my other big league, had to put in Cameron Meredith
damn, I play TSL next week and both our teams will be ravaged with byes lol Dalton, Green, Blount, Gostkowski for me Brady, Hopkins, Alshon, Hill, Fuller, Eifert, Crowder for him
3rd in the league in points and will be in 10th after tonight lol good news is, only 1 game out. bad news is, my roster for week 9 is going to be booty
fuck Ty Montgomery forever had I known he was out, would've started Gillislee or Kelley over Ryan Mathews and won qqqqqq
Somehow that was my second-largest margin of victory all season It was the 10th smallest margin of victory in the whole league so far lol
the three teams with the most points and their place in the standings Stillers- 6th place PepsiOne- 7th Place Dirty Landry- 10th place lol. what a weirdbird league
I was doing alright in points but I have plummeted since losing McCoy and the shitty part is I could've held onto both Ajayi and Booker. Was right about both on draft day, and just got cold feet too soon while scrambling to find backs who could start sooner. I felt "set" at RB after the draft and certainly would have been if I didn't second guess my prospect scouting and analysis of the Broncos/Dolphins RB rooms.
Ajayi was nearly traded before the season and wasn't really even getting many touches after that. Then, the OLine got healthy and he took off. its not like you did anything wrong, no one could've expected this
Yeah. Idk. When it comes down to it I saw the Broncos and Dolphins as good running-game offensive lines when healthy, and felt that both had unreliable starters (Foster injury prone, CJA just always goes down to 3 YPC and gets benched). When you add that I was high on both Ajayi and Booker as prospects... I mean I looked at all of that the right way and just didn't trust it. Even with Ajayi's bad preseason I really didn't expect them to actually use 4 different runningbacks for 5 weeks while Foster was hurt. I fully expected Ajayi to prove he was good and get most the carries when that happened. And he did eventually! Miami was just stubborn about it for JUST long enough for me to think they weren't gonna change and drop him. Booker, man. When he fumbled his first carry and then didn't get used for two games. I thought that right there was time to cut my losses. It's just my luck Anthony reached for him with $13 FAAB when I went back on my decision and tried to pick him back up, and this was 2 weeks before CJ got hurt too...
