I told you Freeman still has the highest ceiling. He's just not as reliable as McCoy and I couldn't give up my only surefire, gets most of the touches in every game, feature back.
Like my team a lot now. It was hard to give up Freeman, he is so fucking good and a thrill to watch and root for... but honestly Cooks will put up points more consistently than Freeman in a PPR league now that Coleman is the receiving back and the goal line vulture. Cooks/Brown might be my best WR duo I've ever had in fantasy, and I've had Julio/Demaryius before. Meanwhile it's fair to KJ because any RB that will have at least some 20+ weeks is still a huge upgrade at that spot for him. Meanwhile I have faith in Jamaal Charles coming back strong which would make this trade not really negatively affect me. Was also mildly comforting to see Sproles put up numbers on my bench, since I probably will need that boom or bust RB4 in a pinch as a flex option at some point. Very, very disappointed in my Jags OL play so far but Yeldon is making noise as a pass catcher and if we ever kick run blocking into gear he'll be a very solid RB3.
Ultimately I decided to trade Cooks because while he has a ton of potential to blow up (as he did in Week 1), there are just a bunch of legit targeting threats in that offense and I worried a bit about his # of looks per game. But also because as stated before, I had no option. I needed a RB in the worst way lol.
Eh, Brees has always had a strong primary target and then spread the ball like crazy to the rest. We just forgot what it was like for Brees to have a WR1 once Jimmy Graham stole the spotlight from Colston.
True but in scenarios where he's going up against a good corner (which is quite often) he may struggle. Des Trufant ate his lunch on Monday and pretty much has in every meeting. At any rate, its a deal that SHOULD work out for both of us.
Perfect Can't wait for Tyrell Williams and Cole Beasley to be my starting WRs this week against the best team in the league
I just did not feel comfortable with my wideouts after Decker got hurt Also poor Tajae Sharpe can't stick around anywhere
Lol next week is gonna be rough. My QB1, WR2, WR3, RB2 and RB3 all have a week 5 bye. I'm lucky that Tyler Eifert comes back week 5 so I can use him in my flex. Feels good to get them all out of the way early though. Because after that I only miss Antonio Brown for week 8 and LeSean McCoy for week 10, outside of that my team is full strength every week (barring injury).
Completely forgot about the London game and left Thomas in Probably wasn't going to win anyway but ugh
