I hate fantasy football

 

GOTTA, GOTTA trust my instincts more often, fuck

this week my controversial instincts that didn’t make sense on paper were
1) start Dak over Lamar
2) start Tank Dell

I was goddamn right on both by a mile but I only trusted the first one. Might have a W this week if I started Dell. I knew TB defense was gonna get destroyed by Stroud, some reasons logical, some reasons were just gut feelings. And of course I didn’t all the way predict that he’d break the rookie record. but I fucking knew it

 

Sitting Addison two weeks ago and sitting Lockett last week were also examples of ignoring my gut feeling and finding out I was right the whole time

 

I am glad that Ceedee and Rachaad White are turning into fantasy studs

Howell did the job this week

gonna have a tough decision moving forward at QB

 

Standings are gonna get interesting after this week. I’m coping but I’m still alive somehow

 

Diggs stepping up for me

Eh, points is a pretty close race, 5 teams within 60 points of you. That’s basically the difference between a real bad 1 week performance and a real good 1 week performance

 

Why yes, I did bid $4 on a kicker this week. I do not care lol. Cardinals offense is too bad for me to rely on Prater, who goose-egged last week;

meanwhile, Brandon McManus fits all of my criteria for kickers
-team with conservative playcalling that struggles in the red zone even though they have a good offense
-D/ST that gets the offense into good position so they still kick FGs even when the offense stalls,
-proven track record of consistent accuracy,
-being good enough at distance kicks to be trusted to kick 50+ often instead of punting

McManus has several 10+ point weeks already, which would’ve won me the game last week for example… and I root for his team so I won’t be subbing him out. This is about the only circumstance I’ll put FAAB money on a K, aside from somebody stupidly dropping Justin Tucker

 

Also, D’Onta Foreman comin in clutch today with a TD and basically 100 total yards

 

Dropped foreman early in the season to have him toss up a phat one on me smh

 

Ain’t your fault, he couldn’t stay on a team. Him ending up on the Bears was an ideal situation though and I remembered he was good last year with Carolina so I gave him a shot

 

Rachaad White has been such an unexpected stud for me this year

 

if Garrett Wilson, Jerry Jeudy, and the Jets D can get at least 20.5 combined points, I take over 1st place overall somehow lol

 

I need some big time luck to pull this one out, would be a huge W
