Hello we are back for 2023. Please confirm you are still in: @xbrokendownx @spiffa0 @foolton @Randall Mentzos @John Lopiano @TSLROCKS @tkamB @michaelvalerijr @thechrisformat @xkj1985x @MyBestFiend @Night Channels I believe I have already renewed the league for 2023. I think I set the draft for the Tuesday before the first game at 9pm ET. Buy-in will remain at $100 unless anyone has any objection. We are opening this up to a vote again... 1. Would you like to remove at least one of kicker or D/ST? 2. If you answered YES to #1, which would you rather remove? 3. Are there any other rule changes you would like to see implemented and if so, what are they?
I'm still in I vote to not remove any positions, although I'm a lot more OK with getting rid of kickers than defenses
Confirmed nah no rule changes. League is perfect even though I have failed to win all of the 4 times my team has been really good :(
It would make non running QBs more even with running QBs it would, however, also make QB an extremely important position - Mahomes and Allen should both easily go in the first round in that kind of league
I disagree. All QBs are getting that bump, not just those specific QBs. I think the difference is not as big as you'd think.
QB would be more important than RB, scoring wise though. That 2 extra points per touchdown really adds up and yeah it bumps all QBs but the ones who routinely throw 3-5 touchdowns are gonna get the biggest bump.
I think it actually makes good RB's more valuable, and evens the field of the garbo tier/middle ground QB's. main reason I think it would be cool, but like I said definitely not some hill i'm dying on just never tried it lol
My only thing is Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson will have games where they throw 3 touchdowns and run for 2. that would be 30 points right there before we even get into the yards. 30 points is like, what you HOPE your RB1 scores a few weeks out of the season. And you’d have average ass QBs clearing that number easily some weeks.
In. 1. Yes 2. Kicker 3. I think we should consider converting the IR spot to a regular bench spot. Mostly just because I like bench spots as it rewards people for being in on players earlier, but also feel like IR spots get gamed more than they really help the people that get unluckily hit by injuries.
In -Yes, duh, even though like always it won’t win -BOTH, but kicker more -I vote yes on the IR-bench, no on the 6 pt TD, and also propose folding TE into WR and just have each WR spot be WR/TE (though I know none of you traditionalists for the sake of tradition will go for it haha). The studs are still v valuable (your Kelces, Andrews’, et al) but means we don’t have to dumpster dive to try to catch lightning with the guy who catches a 2 yd TD
so right now, we have 7 bench slots and 1 IR slot What it sounds like is you guys want 8 bench slots and 0 IR slots? Please vote YES or NO to this proposed change.
