Obviously this is unchartered territory but what do we do? I think it's unlikely I am making a comeback but I guess it's possible (?).

However, I am pretty sure this game is not going to get made up. Do we call it? Just wait to see what happens....thoughts? I can send funds to the respective winners tonight if that is what we decide to do.

I would say lets hold off at least a few more days to see if there is any resolution. If it turns out that they just call the game completely, we'll have to come up with something.

with Bass' FG, I jumped ahead of Randall by a few points, but I guess its always possible he missed a kick and got some negative points so I don't feel comfortable "claiming" that win until we get further direction

It feels greasy to be talking about the game itself but it had pretty huge playoff implications so knowing the NFL, they’re gonna want to play the game at some point but I have no clue how they are going to do it.

I know Chris doesnt post here anymore so its hard to get in contact with him, but maybe him and KJ can agree to something like that too

 

Yeah I mean our game is close as shit we both scored 140+ and it’d be dumb to have it decided on a technicality

 

I am okay with whatever. I wouldn't expect (nor would I want) to split the 1st/2nd place pot with Chris since the liklihood of me coming back was fairly slim, albeit possible. But I am fine with pretty much whatever.

 

Yeah for us it came down to a field goal that was kicked literally minutes before they ended the game

and it’s completely arbitrary whether a game that only lasted 10 game-minutes actually still counts for fantasy or not, after being cancelled and not counting in the NFL. Like who gets to make that call? Commissioner? Brandon has a conflict of interest there.

it’s just better to not have a dispute over it and split the results evenly because that’s what Buffalo and Cincy did and I don’t think any of us is looking to get competitive over a tragic event

 

Someone remind me what the payouts are again and I'll throw something out there in the morning sometime (for 1st/2nd). Sounds like the 3rd split is already settled.

 

normally, its

1st- $700
2nd- $300
3rd- $100
most points- $100

So since me and Randall are splitting the 3rd place $100, I should get $150 since I had the most points as well. Once you and Chris figure out the 1st/2nd pot, we can put this to bed.

If it were me, I might suggest like, $650/$350 instead of $700/$300 or something like that
