I am so annoyed that DPJ suddenly did nothing. I really thought about starting Jahan Dotson but I figured the Heinecke vs 49ers matchup was too tough to trust. Guess I should’ve realized McLaurin and Dotson is a stressful duo for any defense to completely take away.

New England defense… also hurt me that I didn’t start them. Always trust your best weapons. I knew Cincy would put up points against them but they still had sacks, turnovers and a TD and almost singlehandedly brought their sorry offense back into the game. Belichick really is elite at defense when he wants to be.

 

and both times his main threat most of the season (me) gets owned by injuries right during the playoff stretch

well, in this case @xbrokendownx ‘s team replaced mine as the biggest threat, but still

 

I straight up have gotten to the point where I really know what I’m doing in fantasy but it doesn’t matter cause 55% of it is still luck. My team in the other league missed the playoffs but has now led the league the last 3 weeks in a row with 134+ points, shame that I was technically right about a lot of sleeper players who were gonna go off but it just took them all half a season to do it lol

 

good to know that if I got literally anything from Fields, Adams, my kicker, or defense I might have pulled it off lol so frustrating

I basically lost because Tyler Allgeier got tripped up by his own QB on what would’ve been a walk in goal line touchdown

I just hate how both of the last two seasons I had the most dangerous team until I got absolutely Molly whollopped by injuries to very important players. And I STILL only lost the semifinal by one touchdown BOTH YEARS

 

You put too much on reliance on rookies, bruh. No track record. Gotta take the risk for disaster with the good

 

I did learn something this year though:

if it’s a heavy weather day, start receivers and kickers that are playing in domes. Throw away your expectations of what the matchup is going to be like.

 

Most of the rookies you see starting now were drafted to be backups though, and only ended up starting because of injuries. Kenneth Walker, Drake London and Tyler Allgeier were all on my bench originally.

Aside from that, Kenneth Walker has legitimately been good and has been a very startable RB2 at least since the Penny injury landed him the starting role… and I was 100% correct about Breece Hall. He was an RB1 and then he got hurt.
