I just sold tickets through StubHub for the first time ever. Kind of confused how it all works out. Did the buyer already pay? Or does he not pay until I officially transfer him the tickets? I didn't see the e-mail that the tickets were purchased until this morning. The e-mail was from like 11:45 p.m. last night. Also, they were Mobile Tickets through Live Nation, so I transferred them to the buyer about three hours ago but when I go to My Tickets on Live Nation, it's saying 'waiting for recipient to claim' But I received an e-mail from StubHub saying 'Your Tickets were Delivered" and that 'you're getting paid' but when I click on View Payment Status it doesn't really give any details whatsoever.
As long as you got the email from StubHub saying your money is on the way you’re good. I have mine set up with PayPal and i always get paid about 2 days later in the evening. Once StubHub pays you, you’ll get an email showing payments processed.
Thanks. My Live Nation mobile tickets that I transferred six hours ago are still saying 'Waiting for recipient to claim.' Other than the transfer, Do you ever contact the buyer separately?
27 hours later...buyer still hasn’t claimed their tickets. Do I still get paid? Kind of bogus if I don’t because the tickets haven’t been listed on stubhub since I got the purchase email Thursday night. So that’s two days that they could have been available to other buyers.
This happened to me once. Go on to StubHub on a computer and go to the help section. You have to find where you can chat with a rep. When it happened to me they forced the payment through to me because I had done everything I needed to on my end. Try that, their reps are actually very helpful.
I still have a single extra ticket to Balance & Composure's final show this weekend, May 11th @ The Fillmore in Philly. Verified transfer on Ticketmaster is up now. Price is slightly above what I paid to cover the Ticketmaster fee.
I’m selling 2 tickets to new Found Glory at Starland Ballroom June 8th, I paid 90 total after fees and what not, would knock a few bucks off to 80-85 if anyone’s interested
