I also paid awhile ago. We should definitely be tagging usernames to get people to pay.

So like has everyone paid? Is everyone is playing? I feel like I’ve quite a bit of people with guys on the DL in their lineups which is an obvious sign of inactivity. I’m surprised my team is even close to 500 and I’m about to get Trea Turner, Garret Cole, Jung and Contreras off of the IL. I feel like I’m getting a whole new team built for the 2nd half of the season after using the waivers to fill gaps.

 

I feel like the only one posting but just doing to call out. Both of the team run by Matt (hoping those are two separate people) have 5-6 guys on IL in the starting lineup with healthy guys on the bench and have not been touched all season. They are both losing 15-1 this week.

I feel like this league just kind of feel apart and everyone should get their money back with multiple people not playing and I don’t even think everyone paid. I get not checking your lineup for a week or two, but these teams have guys who have been on the IL for at least a month in the lineups. Just my two cents but when I join a league I expect mostly active participation and a commissioner who at least tries to pay attention to stuff like this.

 

All I can say is I tried my best. There was very middling enthusiasm from the start from most people. Took a long time to get people involved. I’m not sure if both the Matt’s are one person, it might be. I tried calling people out for that and no one said otherwise. I’ve got 200 bucks so far. I play every week. I have been wanting to do this from day one and no one else wanted to be commissioner so I don’t know what to tell you. We can shut down the league if the majority of people don’t want to do it.

This league happening again this year? I skipped last year so out of the loop. From reading the thread it looks like maybe people lost interest lol

Yeah it sucks ahaha. I can take another crack at it unless someone else wants to—maybe we’ll have enough interest maybe we won’t

 

I have 3 friends who are all onboard for a league if one is created so that’s 5

 

Oh good idea I have a couple friends and my brother who would probably do it if we need more

 

We rushed it at the end. Rushed the time slot and rules. But yes if we stay on it in the beginning I'm in

I’m down if we have more engaged participation and a commissioner who is on top of things. Last year was definitely not as much fun as previous years.
