Yahoo waits until the teams officially put them on the IL, usually night before or morning of opening day. Once they have IL next to their name, it will allow you to move them to IL and open up a free roster spot to then add a player without dropping an additional player.

I didn’t notice but we have Saves and Saves + Holds as two separate categories. That should not be a thing. Is there anyway to change categories after the season began? Should probably have Saves switched out for losses?

I'd also say that Avg and OBP are redundant, we should maybe pick 1?

Also Ks for batters and HRs allowed for pitchers is a little whacky.

I’d agree for your first point, but it’s not a big deal. The second point I disagree with. Strikeouts should totally count against your hitters and giving up HR’s should definitely hurt your pitchers.

WHIP and ERA already count against pitchers, HRs just hurt guys who throw more innings even more.

Same thing with having BA and Hits or Slugging and HRs, it's weird double counting some categories.

Might be easier to just do OPS over obp, avg, and slg. But it helps power hitters more than contact hitters.

Sorry to double post lol. I don't mind the extra categories but find that anything over 6x6 or 7x7 gets overly complicated when using categories. I think using the extra categories lends itself to a point scoring format instead.

Trying to read through the categories on my phone for either my weekly matchup or my daily lineup screen is a pain in the ass

    1) I haven’t gotten money from half the people so I’m not doing anything until we get that

    2) respectfully, we didn’t even have enough people to start a league and if someone cared that much to complain about stats, you should have started it. I started it and I’m letting it rock because I just like to have a reason to watch other games. Sorry.

Well considering half of the people haven’t paid, are people actually trying and checking their lineups? I also think you’re taking the stat comments a little too harshly.

The league was rushed and most people didn’t notice the redundancy in the categories. If you didn’t know what you were doing you should have went with something more basic than having 16 categories lol

then someone else should have stepped up and did the league. I don’t know what I’m doing I’m just trying to have fun watching baseball. I dont know if anyone is setting their line ups, I just wanted to play.
