Picking between Dark Souls and MGS is going to be so hard.

 

Honestly, not for me. As much as I love MGS, and as classic of a game as it is, I'd rather go back to Dark Souls (Remastered) any day. Both games were formative experiences for me the first time I played them but honestly Dark Souls at this point in my life has made a far more lasting impact on me than the original MGS.

Plus, MGS2 and 3 are still in the bracket and better than MGS1 in almost every conceivable way.

I know Pokemon is going to win, like I know it in my bones, but that's a problem for future Anthony to deal with. I'm trying not to think about it right now.

 

Have you guys played OG MGS recently? I can’t imagine it holds up

 

It holds up better than a lot of PS1 games, honestly. Also there's always The Twin Snakes if you want something less rough.
