I'm fine with that also, i feel like an oddball category here and there would just more easily facilitate no weekly ties, not that ties reallllly matter in the long run.
OK that's 14. Some of you have sent me your emails, if you have not, please either DM me or post here (we promise not to spam you) and I will get this set up over the weekend. Are weeknights good for everyone for a draft? Not sure what time zones everyone is in so thinking maybe like a 9-10pm draft on a weeknight or maybe a Sunday afternoon?
I'll have to fight to stay awake past 9:30 on a weeknight but I have it in me. wittlerdaniel@yahoo.com
what about Offense (6): Runs HR RBI SB OPS K's negative Other Hitting Categories: Walks Hits Errors Pitching (6): Wins ERA Saves Holds (I like holds) K's Quality Starts Other picthing categories: Walks Allowed Innings Pitched WHIP I will have to agree that i dont think the odd ball one's are that great. Too flukey
the only problem with saves and holds being one thign is i feel like you could easily just punt taking bullpen people. It's just one category. If we did that we would need to add or adapt something to persuade people to actually get closers ya know
I can't remember the last time my league had holds as a category but I really like that. It gives other relievers aside from closers more value. There are some great set up guys out there that previously would only be beneficial with ERA and K's, and maybe an occasional win or save.
Weeknights are usually good for me if it's 9:00 (EST). Maybe not a Tuesday if possible only because that's my late night at work and when I get out is a little unpredictable. Unless it was 10:00 on a Tuesday. Could definitely make that.
alright so far it seems weeknights (9pm and later work for most folks), have heard opposition for Tuesdays, and support for a Monday. How does Monday 3/16 9pm feel for everyone?
OK so, revised scoring proposal: Offense: Runs HR RBI SB OPS K's negative Hits Pitching: Wins ERA Saves Holds K's Quality Starts WHIP 7 categories each just need emails from @Ken @Groogz & @T.J.
