Are chon really that popular? I was surprised at how big these venues are, guess I haven't followed them since a band I like took them out for their first big tour
Chon are extremely good and a flawless live band, their fans are just abominable Polyphia are boring and also not as tight live and unfortunately their fans are also abominable
why would i want to spend more money to see more bands i don't like? i'd rather go home and drink a better beer for half the price and not have to see music i think is bad
I have wanted to see CHON for a few years but haven't come around to it. Hearing that they are solid live is inspiring. I'm also interested in Tricot and their merch.
eh. i like people watching and, like atlas mentioned, chon brings out the weirdest people. plus they aren't bad live imo. polyphia is boring as shit to me though so we'll see. add on to this, the fact that it's at the house of blues on a thursday so we'll see. i probably won't be able to make it there until ~ 7 at the earliest so i may miss tricot. one of the downsides of working and living in the burbs now.
I've been jamming CHON for the last day and they've grown on me a ton. I knew about 3 songs before I saw tham at Riot Fest last year and I was enthralled by their tightness. Gettign very, very excited for this show. People are going to walk out of this show obsessing over Tricot, and I cannot wait.
I'll be at the Philly show. The Chon/Tera Melos/Covet show last year was excellent. I'm not that into Polyphia, but Chon/TTNG is a must see for me.
CHON is one of the best bands that I’ve seen live. Their show was great. Tricot was also good. There was a weird mix of jocks, EDM wanna-be hippies, and metalheads.
