I feel like the album is gonna have some curveballs on it. Homey certainly did and they're playing some pretty out-there festivals for this style of music this year (Coachella, Electric Forest). To me this song feels a twinge more sad/melancholic than their usual stuff, which is reflected in the vibe/aesthetic of the album as well imo
You need to listen to Homey, homie. Still one of my favorite albums from 2017. The band didn't really hit me until I heard that album.

loooove this song, i'm sure there will be some more flashy ones on the album but i have a feeling we are going to get something that sounds a lot closer to grow, than to homey. which, i am definitely cool with! the mood of this new song is really interesting
not sure how i'm feeling about that video, i feel like the shots of the band playing are a little too short, and it's a little cheesy haha. but i'm really digging the new album! not quite what i expected after homey, feels like more of a throwback to grow, but i won't complain, there's some really cool stuff here!
Visit is so unbelievably chill, I love it. Rosewood also super good. Thought they were gonna double down on the experimentation of Homey but they kind of went in the opposite direction. These songs are really focused and sharp though
I like two songs from this album (‘petal’ and ‘rosewood’). Overall I personally think most of this is noise that wouldn’t have made the cut on Homey.
2nd half of the album was definitely my favorite part. They took a more deliberate, methodical approach and I think it worked out.
