maybe this is all a ruse to get people talking about chiodos again. i'm sure any publicity is good publicity to craig.
It is kind of funny that he lip syncs to his pitchy ass old vocals. They might as well stand on stage and tell someone to hit the play button and then walk out.
Thankfully the instrumentalists from the previous eras of the band are also not present… not a single one.
Like, that WWWF video that Chiodos just posted where Craig announces that they are doing a tour: His mic is on for when he's talking about announcing the tour, and then you can clearly hear and see the distinction for when the song starts and his mic is cut, haha. It's wild. I need to link that video here.
I’d be interested in going to this tour cause I love that album, love callous Daoboys, but honestly I would imagine he is going to lip sync this too, so I’m having a hard time justifying this one
I’m waiting to see videos from the first couple of dates. It also only being Craig is another factor.
Ignoring the lip synching of it all for now, it just kind of bums me out that he released the best music he's put out in a decade this year, toured it before it even came out, and is now ditching it for Diet Chiodos. I would've preferred a DRUGS tour and if he really wanted to celebrate Alls Well 20 years he could've done some acoustic shows or something playing those songs. Or simply bill it as DRUGS performing All's Well That Ends Well, with an opening set of new songs and an encore of songs from the DRUGS debut. Why even differentiate the bands at this point?
Yea it’s def cause that DRUGs tour wasn’t even pulling in 500-1000 people. Chiodos branding will fill those 3k venues
