The OG album definitely suffered from production quality of that time so I'm excited to hear the rest of this Bone Palace will forever be my favorite, though.
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever truly cared about a re-recorded or remixed album unless it comes with like unreleased songs and stuff, but my god this is so awesome, this is going to be the only version I listen to going forward. Actually gives me some hope that Craig or someone he’s working with understands what made this band work, and maybe a new album from them won’t be a total disaster
That level of production and Craig going for the highest of his vocal range is what drew me to the album initially. And the all out screaming everybody was doing. Sometimes style points matter more than accuracy.
I also agree the production of the original has a charm to it The new one is objectively good but it's also Craig so feels bad
Believe there has been two former members that have commented on the re record so far. The other was the “massacred my boy meme” but this one was a little more. and Craig is deleted and blocking any negative comments on his AI generated post about it lol
this sounds real bad lol. i don't know what's going on with the drums but it sounds like he's hitting a tupperware lid half the time
there is def a backing track of his clean vocals but he is singing. Yeah the drums sound like dogshit
Classic Craig CHIODOS' 'All’s Well That Ends Well' re-record called out for excluding original lineup
Just noticed this in their Spotify bio. Has this been announced otherwise? "...The post-hardcore act has another tour planned for the fall and festival appearances to support a re-recorded and remixed version of All's Well That Ends Well, and a new album is scheduled to be released in 2026."
yeah I mean, it’s just a marketing thing right? More people know who chiodos is than DRUGS, so he could make the same record but I’m sure a new chiodos record will get more exposure
