I was convinced IMDb was lying to me.

 

I thought the guy that plays Harvey looked liked the guy from Teen Beach Movie... Oh wait it's unfortunately him

 

This episode was pretty good. I enjoyed it for the most part, but everything with Sabrina's mom was kind of disappointing and lame

 

Renewed for seasons three and four.

Loved her makeup this entire special. I thought it was a lot of fun. The Harvey stuff is a bummer and I still think Lucas is evil, but, ya know. Excited for Part 2!

 

Glad we got to see more of her mom. I wasn't sure if the episode was gonna be straight holiday filler, but it felt like we got a good amount of character stuff.

 

Rewatching the first season of Riverdale, and there's a Madam Satan reference. Doesn't mean anything, but it was an interesting detail.

 

I love the Buffy vibes this show has sometimes

 

Continuing my rewatch of RIverdale with the "pancake mix" in season 2, and there's a reference to not wanting to be in Greendale "after midnight".

I swear if there's no crossover, I'll riot.

EDIT: and the deer that stares at Archie on the Riverdale/Greendale border has got to be a familiar...

 

this was so good! finished it and the holiday episode in two days. was not expecting to be as into it as I was, really really liked the kind of darker story and the world they created. I did watch this immediately after Riverdale so I did pick up on a few things that I'm sure were mentioned. like Harvey's family used a different funeral service at the end (one in Riverdale) and there was an Archie comic poster was in Harvey's room.

 

Late to the party but I finally started this. Somehow already in episode 4 even tho I feel like nothings happened. I think I haven’t been paying enough attention lol

 

Watched the first two episodes last night and was way more into than I expected. Maybe it gets worse, but the writing is perfectly fine for what it is.

They filmed the seasons back to back right?

 

I think this is considered part 2 of the first season and it was part of the original series order, so they had already been working on it when the first part released in October.

 

It's a smart move, especially putting a special in the middle.

So many people will binge a show over a weekend, have to wait a year for a new season, and by then you've either forgotten about the show or just don't care anymore

Weren't they doing the same thing with that Matt Groening show? I'm surprised we haven't seen that part 2 yet
