Just finished this, and I have so many mixed feelings about how it ended.

 

How come?

I don't know, it just feels like Sabrina kind of throws her mortal half away when she signs the book. I mean, it's sets up well for S2, but I don't know.

Going out later today to do errands, might see if I can pick up a couple issues of the comic.

 

Looks like another piece of artwork in the show looks pretty darn similar to another artist's work

 

2 episodes in and I'm hooked

 

show was really good. already stoked for season 2

 

I thought this was really bad. Started off well and I love the tone. But the writing was awful and I couldn't take Harvey seriously. He's an awful awful actor.

I much preferred the witch school and everyone there to any of the mortal characters so hopefully season 2 is a less of a disappointment for me.

 

Honest question: Why would you watch season 2 if you thought the first was "really bad" and "awful" and "awful awful" and a "disappointment"? Seems like pretty good reasons to stop watching a show.

 

I mean, Nick isn't wrong, but I still enjoyed it despite those things

 

I don't think it's really bad. But if I did, I wouldn't watch it.

 

Nah I don't think it's really bad, either - especially not the big-picture stuff. But a lot of the smaller plot points and characterizations were pretty sloppily written at times. And I agree that Harvey sucked heh. Roz and Suzie got a LOT better by the end, though. Zelda, too.

 

On around Ep7 right now. The sleep demon looked ugly and cool, but that episode was kind of a drag for me. Other than that, I've been enjoying it. I watch a lot of CW shows, and this feels like it fits within that realm of shows for me.

 

Can we have Harvey and Ambrose talk about comics a little more please?

 

Do y'all think the success of this show will get RAS to actually write more issues of the comic?

 

I loved the tone, I like the comic books. I like Riverdale and my boyfriend liked it.

 

Really good first season. Definitely had some flaws but I had a lot of fun with this.

 

Picked up No. 1 today for some weekend reading
