I already loved the majority of this but it's growing on me more and more with every listen. The songs start sounding like they make more sense together the more you're used to it
Really really great show, first half is focused on the newer stuff and the second half has a lot more older stuff (including a song from Culdesac) one notable absence though that bummed me out
The setlist is fucking incredible, holy shit. The amount of old songs makes me so happy How much of Do Ya Like, Heartbeat, Freaks & Geeks and Bonfire did he do?
If anyone wants a free floor ticket to Milwaukee tomorrow please DM me. I’m going but my partner can’t make it.
Same essential setlist as the first two nights? I have an irrational fear that he's going to cut old songs lol
I'm torn between sharing too many details and staying vague to preserve the experience for others, so I'll just say a few more things: He's doing this tour "for the fans" and really puts his full self into every performance Hearing his songs with live instrumentation incorporated wherever possible was astounding If you're a fan of the newest LP you'll leave very satisfied given the amount of tracks he covers and what he does with them
Damn. that means they were better fans than Milwaukee. Which means they were better fans than OKC since he told us in Milwaukee that we were better fans than OKC. Gimme another shot, Don!!!
