I tried to listen to Because the Internet for the first time in years the other day, only managed to get halfway through and thought it was pretty subpar. Hasn't aged well
I could never get into Because the Internet, but Camp is still one of my favorite albums of all time.
Camp is interesting musically, sometimes, but he’s so bitter and angry and not even about anything of importance. A record high school me would like but I can barely listen to now.
Loved Camp back when i first heard it in 2012 but don't think I could face going back to it now. Wouldn't be comfortable with a lot of those lyrics now.
Yeah, there's already three different memes from the "This Is America" video, and as much as I know they're both reinforcing and flying in the face of Glover's intention, they're all hilarious.
Well, I've watched the video more than 20 times so I don't have a problem laughing at a meme. The video's unruinable. :)
Being reported that this will most likely debut at number 1 next week. Dethroning Drake's 15 week run. This is huge for him. Redbone peaked at 12.
Video has been out for a week as of today and already has almost 100 million views so not exactly shocking Super happy though
I don’t know where else to post this, so I’m gonna post it here. The idea of getting a bunch of rappers to do ad-libs on This Is America made me think of this... Why hasn’t a rapper enlisted the services of Big Quint to ad-lib over one of their hype tracks??? Has that happened yet????
