I LOVED BTI when it first came out, but over the years I’ve only stuck to a handful of songs as well. It was that previous list mentioned plus Telegraph Ave and Pink Toes
The tour starts in September, so I'm gonna guess the album comes in August. Hope it's sooner, though.
I have to go see him if he tours the UK. I'll go solo if I have to. Also Earth: The Oldest Computer is a good song. Realising lately I think BTI is my favourite release of his.
I still think EP is probably just my favourite release of his. But LP-wise; Camp was up there for me before, but I now feel BTI is very much more a cohesive album that flows and has a tone to it. Really enjoying Dial Up, then the lead into The Worst Guys lately.
I think Camp was grat when it came out, but looking back at it now, quite a few of the songs are cringey. The EP is still great too though. Freaks and Geeks will always be a Bino classic
BTI is my favorite from him, and I was way into camp when it came out. I feel like a lot of people sleep on Royalty though. It’s not as cohesive, but has some of his best tracks
I was obsessed with Camp when it first came out, but I just revisited it last night and it made me cringe. I think the keepers on there for me are Sunrise and Bonfire. I think I'd rank his releases: AML! Kauai BTI EP Royalty Camp Culdesac
Haha yeah I guess I still enjoy that one as well. You See Me too. But there are definitely songs I was OBSESSED with back in 2011 that I just can't stand now. Like I don't know how I ever liked Heartbeat.
I never listened to stn mtn. I was really into EP when it came out but I was like 18 and honestly most of his pre-AML stuff is derivative and, aside from a standout track or two on every release, not all that interesting, often hampered by a not super cool outlook on women. Royalty might be my favorite pre-AML Gambino project. AML blows everything else away.
Disagree. Just because the other releases are straight hip-hop doesn’t make them derivative. They are largely really impressive releases with unique and interesting production.
