Yes they do, it’s very annoying. I loved being able to sit between sets or for a bit then go back to floor there.

If you're looking for non-Mexican recommendations in that area, S.K.Y. and Dusek's (adjacent to the music venue Thalia Hall) are nice, but a step up from casual dining.
We're in Austin and my fiance is from Houston, so we've got solid Mexican options here...but I would never turn it down. I have reservations at Sapori Trattoria one night, but if I should switch those up for a better Italian spot, let me know. Plenty of time to make some changes.
