my dad and i got boosters last thursday in new lenox

 

Walgreens is letting anyone get the booster. I got mine at the end of October. I know there is some different thoughts on waiting vs “jumping the line”, but with the vaccines being approved for children, I’ve noticed a big change appointment availability. I tend to be on the side that feels like if you can schedule the booster do it. There are two separate boosters as well. One for people that are compromised and then a general booster.

Nothing for me this year, but going to Thursday in January and Relient K in February. First shows in awhile very excited!

 

same, I have a bunch next year but yeah done for 2022. I think the War on Drugs is my next one in Feb.

 

I got mwY in January and Parquet Courts in March!

 

I'm playing at Beat Kitchen on December 12th, and I'm seeing The Killers on the 7th and Signals Midwest on the 17th, but that's it for me this year.

I'm sure it helps that I have just a couple degrees of separation from most of this story, and a few of my friends are quoted and thanked in the book, but even with that said, I think it's a wonderful summary of a really cool, unique time and place.

Going to Beach Bunny and Keep for Cheap, great young band you guys should check out. Sadly missing Ratboys/Rat Tally for Christmas reasons, but should be a great show, full band Rat Tally for the first time in the city.
