At some point, you simply can’t say that the barrage of private text messages where you use gendered language to attack women doesn’t “reflect your values.”

I’m pretty sure that it’s the best reflection of your values we have seen.

Especially given the accusations of domestic abuse in his past.

 

I've been noticing a lot of folks will wear masks to venues but just have them down the whole time during the show which defeats the purpose of the mask mandate and venues aren't truly enforcing it. Exhibit A:

I definitely wish venues were better at enforcing wearing a mask properly since spacing isn’t realistic but anywhere you go you’ll see folks pulling them down or getting their nose out, regardless of where they are.

 

Went to Tame Impala last night and it was kind of a shit show getting in. There was a line all the way down Madison wrapping around Wood for Gate 4 and the guy directing traffic kept saying that was the only line to get in - which was very incorrect. We got closer to the front of the line and the guy checking vax cards kept yelling and pointing to Gates 2 and 3 "there are more gates open with short or no lines". On top of that, there were people waiting in those lines who were GA and were told there was a separate gate for GA tickets.

I saw a little booth for Clear in parking lot H but it was clear (heh) what it was for. Most people (myself included) just had their vax cards and ID. I tried to set it up before I went but ran into some issues and never heard back from their support team.

 

I expected that to be the case at the United Center last night and it very much was. Though, we lucked out with our seats and were on the aisle with about 5+ seats open to my right and the people in front and behind us were wearing masks correctly.

 

Most likely making the trip down to have Thrice at Concord be my first show in almost 2 years. Thankfully the venue has vax/negative test policy, but I'm sure it's still going to be super weird.

 

Weather Station tonight, Hop Along tomorrow, Japanese Breakfast next week, and a local show at Cole’s next weekend. Luckily all venues are doing vax mandate/masks too, but if I start seeing that people aren’t wearing the masks at these things I will probably not go to the shows next week.

This is down the street from my apartment. We take my daughter to the park across the street from here almost every night around 5. This is absolutely terrifying.

 

I feel like there is no plan. It all feels so reactionary. Middle of the day, people hanging out the windows of cars shooting at each other. Fucking insane.
