It’d be cool if there was some interesting or new info to share in this thread. if you got it, share it. If not, I’m going to keep posting news regarding the most powerful person in the city.
Also big LOL to Arwady the other day saying Chicago isn’t experiencing a surge and then days later moving into the very high risk category.
Several weeks too late but whatever. Hope compliance is good. My personal indoor mask mandate was never not in effect.
Waiting to see what my cowork space does. If the ignorant fucks in there keep saying that “we’re all vaccinated so we have our own bubble” then I’m gonna be wfh again which I am not looking forward to
It’s the same person who doesn’t understand the concept of an inside voice either, so not surprising.
Like others here have said - doesn't really change anything for me personally as i've been wearing a mask indoors even though i've been fully vaccinated for months now. My only frustration is (and an honest question) - aside from the obvious of getting more people vaccinated, how the hell are the case numbers going to go back under 400/day? Those who aren't vaccinated don't seem likely to budge from their position so is it literally just waiting for the Delta variant to surge through the unvaccinated until there aren't enough people left to get it to keep us over 400/day?
I’ve been wearing a mask at shows mostly and in super crowded indoor spots. I agree with the above that I don’t see how this will really change much in terms of getting cases down from 400/day.
Was good to see that like 95%> of the people at the grocery store today were wearing masks correctly. Of course people at my cowork space started freaking out when the owner started requiring masks again, to the point where now you don’t have to wear them at your desk which doesn’t do shit lol.
