haha hilarious - we may have saw each other because a friend and I went to one of those bars, cant recall which now, over there so she wouldn't have to travel home solo and we were doing the same shit with the door.

I think noted far right sympathizer Matt Skiba was hanging out outside of the show that night too.

Hi y'all. Me again. What's everyone's thoughts on the Hideout?

I see that Sen Morimoto is the booker there which is obviously a good sign but would still love personal testimonials

I like it there. I saw Ratboys there right before the pandemic hit. There's a bar area in the front and a music room in the back. It's kind of hidden as in it's on a deserted street but not difficult to get to and not in a bad area at all.

Super fun, divey spot. It feels straight out of 1979 and I love it.

Love the Hideout, pretty small venue but the vibes are great and a lot of good people run it.

I also reached out a few weeks ago to book my band. Good luck!

The Hideout is also close to Pequods so you can get some bomb pizza.

  13. I've never been to The Hideout or Pequods but I guess I should change that soon.

It’s a positive first step to moving the team to LA and pissing everyone off.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

It sucks from a location perspective, but Solider Field is literally the worst stadium I've ever been to so I can't really blame them tbh.

It'd be gangbusters for the Bears if they moved. That Metra ride back after the game would be a nightmare trip.

  21. Trying to get the cats into the basement while the tornado sirens were going off wasn’t fun, but the worst of the storms went north and south of us. Looks like Woodridge got hit really bad though.

Yeah Naperville and Woodridge got rocked sadly. Extremely scary when this happens overnight.

Was a pain to wake kids up and take them plus dog to basement but thankfully we were only there for 15-20 minutes. Last time that happened it was hours haha.

If there were any alarms/sirens in the city I slept through them. Normally I’m paranoid about that kind of stuff but saw it was a severe thunderstorm watch instead of a tornado watch that was imposed mid evening and thought we were in the clear.

No sirens that I heard, but there was a tornado warning that went out via phone alert for us. At like 11:25pm or so.
